KayakTournaments.com March/April Results

Share:

The first tournament was a great success. The number of anglers that entered the March/April online event have toppled last years numbers. I appreciate all of you and thank you all for being patient as it takes me a while to score fish, and also get the results finalized. With the number of anglers growing, the fish submissions are too. We had 843 fish submitted this month. With the sport growing, we are getting a lot of anglers new to the CPR style tournaments. In the CPR tournaments there is a lot of rules to learn, and a lot of practice needed to get a proper picture to submit. I will be trying to put out videos and/or gather other videos that people have made that give instructions and tips for everyone to use to properly care for a fish, measure it, and also get a proper picture. Stay tuned for more of these tips and tricks posts.

I want to thank everyone who entered this event, for supporting Virginia Kayak Bass Challenge and KayakTournaments.com. Without you all, this wouldn’t exist. I want to give a shout out to Hoo-Rag, for supplying all the winners with a Hoo-Rag of their choice. If you receive a Hoo-Rag, please post pictures on your social media account and tag them and Kayak Tournament.

Any of you who fished this event, have completed one of the 4 events that you need to qualify for the Virginia Kayak Bass Challenge Classic. The VKBC events take $3 from every entry and place them towards the Classic Pot. Right now these is $162 going to the Classic pot that were collected from the two VKBC events. I will also have prizes from all the VKBC sponsors, including Appomattox River Company, Hoo-Rag, RS Nets, On The Water Innovations, J and J Custom Tackle, The Rog Glove, Missile Baits, Yak Addicts, CATCH FISH or DIE TRYING, Yak Attack, Double D Custom Jigs, and Mystery Tackle Box. Not to mention, we will be awarding qualifying spots for the 2018 Kayak Bass Fishing National Championship, where you will have a chance to win $100,000!!! There are two more online events so you can easily make the Classic by fishing both of those, and one other regular season VKBC event.
